The revival of the SaGa franchise continues with SaGa Frontier Remastered announced by Square Enix. It’s currently slated to launch in Summer 2021 worldwide for PS4, PC, Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android. Check out the reveal trailer below.
Based on the PS One classic, SaGa Frontier Remastered features enhanced visuals with high-resolution characters and backgrounds. The ability to speed up the game by 2x and revamped user menus have also been added. If that weren’t enough, Fuse has been added as a playable character, unlocked after finishing the game with the original seven.
Hardcore fans can also look forward to key events in Asellus’ story to be added back in, fleshing it all the more. With the ability to choose a character and pursue their own goals and endings, along with altering various events, SaGa Frontier Remastered should be worth checking out next year.
