While the PS5 and Xbox Series X are largely similar in terms of their hardware capabilities, the PS5 does have a few specific features that its competitor doesn’t have. As such, there’s always the question of how those features are going to be utilized in multiplatform releases. One such game is the upcoming Control: Ultimate Edition, and publisher 505 Games have detailed some of those features.

On the support page for the publisher’s website, it has been confirmed that on the PS5, Control: Ultimate Edition will feature support for the DualSense’s haptic feedback and adaptive triggers. Additionally, the OS-level features such as Game Help (which lets players access guides and walkthrough clips while playing the game) and Activities will also be supported.

Control: Ultimate Edition’s frame rate and resolution targets on all the new consoles were also recently confirmed. On both PS5 and Xbox Series X, the game will target 60 FPS performance with 1440p render resolution and 4K output in Performance Mode, and 30 FPS performance with 1440p render resolution and 4K output with ray-tracing in Graphics Mode. On Xbox Series S, the game will only have a Performance Mode, targeting 60 FPS performance with 900p render resolution and 1080p output.

Control: Ultimate Edition is out for PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on February 2. The game will also be available for free for all PlayStation Plus subscribers in February.
