Scarlet Nexus

Later this year, we’re due to get Scarlet Nexus. The game is the latest action title from Bandai Namco, combining a slick anime aesthetic with frantic and chaotic action gameplay. The development team has done a good job in bringing updates to the game, and now we have a new dev diary highlighting a key player in the narrative.

In the fourth Dev Diary, Director Kenji Anabuki highlighted the OSF (Others Suppression Force), the organization that battles the mysterious Others, the main enemy of the game they have released some lore of in the past. They’ve been doing so for centuries, and have powers normal people don’t to fend off the invaders. One thing that Anabuki reveals is that their powers are at their strongest when they are younger, leading to some older members using anti-age drugs to suppress their natural aging process and hold on to their peak powers for as long as possible. There is an elite group of 7 members within the organization as well, which members strive to one day be part of. There’s also various gameplay throughout the video, so check it out.

Scarlet Nexus is scheduled to release this Summer for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One and PC.
