CD Projekt RED recently showcased some of the changes coming to Cyberpunk 2077 with update 1.2. A release date wasn’t provided for the patch but it should be coming soon. On Twitter, the developer confirmed that the update was “currently being tested” and that patch notes for the same would be revealed ahead of release.
New features in update 1.2 include a steering sensitivity slider in response to complaints of vehicle steering being too sensitive. Those driving and stuck on certain obstacles can also rock the vehicle back and forth to become unstuck. Another positive change is that Night City PD will take longer to react to crimes, though they’ll still spawn out of thin air (albeit some distance away).
Cyberpunk 2077 is currently available for Xbox One, PS4, PC and Google Stadia. It’s slated to receive upgrades for Xbox Series X/S and PS5 in the second half of 2021. Stay tuned for more details on update 1.2 in the meantime.
