CD Projekt RED have started down the long road of recovery for Cyberpunk 2077. They recently released patch 1.2 for the RPG, which brings with it a massive list of fixes and improvements, but it seems more significant additions and enhancements might also be headed our way in the form of free DLCs. CD Projekt RED have previously said that they plan on supporting Cyberpunk 2077 in a similar manner to The Witcher 3, with a combination of free DLCs and more comprehensive paid expansions, and a Reddit user, who recently dug into the game’s recently registered names for upcoming add-ons on the Epic Games Store, may have spilled the beans on the former.

The following names were seemingly registered to the game’s store page for upcoming DLCs:

  • Ripperdocs Expansion
  • Body Shops Expansion
  • Fashion Forward Expansion
  • Gangs of Night City
  • Body of Chrome
  • Rides of the Dark Future
  • The Relic
  • Neck Deep
  • Night City Expansion

Many of those, including the likes of “Ripperdocs Expansion”, “Body Shops Expansion”, and “Fashion Forward Expansion” seem to suggest that shops and vendors in the game’s world will be fleshed out and improved upon. Night City Expansion’s name suggests that more new areas might possible be added (or at least expanded), while Gangs of Night City could be referring to the gangs being made a more significant part of the game’s world. This is all speculation, of course, but if the names are any indication of what’s coming up (and are accurate), then the game might be in line for some much-needed improvements.

Meanwhile, the page also mentions an Expansion Pass that’s priced at $14.99, which is most likely what will entail the full-fledged story-driven expansions for the game.

Of course, this is unverified information, so it’s best to treat it as such until we hear something from CD Projekt RED themselves. With the developer having its hands full with fixing the game that’s already out, it might be a while before we hear about any significant content updates. CD Projekt RED has said that free DLCs will be releasing in the coming months though, so there’s that.

Cyberpunk 2077 is currently available on PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia. PS5 and Xbox Series X/S versions will also be launching later in 2021.
