As Call of Duty has grown with each passing year, Activision has been putting more and more of its studios on the franchise to ensure that its growth is sustained. Earlier this year, reports emerged claiming that all of Activision studios were now working on Call of Duty in some form of another, and now, that’s been officially confirmed.

As reported by VGC, Activision has got all of its core internal studios working on Call of Duty right now. Sledgehammer Games is the lead developer on the upcoming Call of Duty: Vanguard, while Treyarch is developing the game’s Zombies mode. Meanwhile, additional support is being provided by High Moon Studios, Beenox, Demonware, Activision Shanghai (who are also working on another new mobile Call of Duty title), and Toys for Bob (as previously reported earlier this year).

There’s Raven Software, of course, the studio in charge of Call of Duty: Warzone. Reports have stated on multiple occasions that the studio has been expanding aggressively in order to support the battle royale game on a persistent basis. Finally, there’s Infinity Ward, who are, of course, the original Call of Duty studio.

Interestingly, with Activision currently in the midst of a controversial lawsuit over allegations of widespread discrimination against and harassment of employees following a two year-investigation, the company has seemingly attempted to distance itself from the Call of Duty brand, with their logo or name nowhere to be seen in recent reveal trailer for Vanguard. Read more on that through here.

Call of Duty: Vanguard is out on November 5 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. It will be making its gameplay debut at Gamescom Opening Night Live on August 25.
