With Kena: Bridge of Spirits slated to release tomorrow (or tonight, depending on one’s region), EmberLab has shared some more details on the game’s various features in a new press release. It’s available as a Standard Digital Edition ($39.99) and Deluxe Digital Edition ($49.99), the latter including a digital soundtrack, golden Rot skin and a silver staff for use in-game. Regardless of which version is purchased, it will include digital versions for both PS4 and PS5.

In terms of PS5 features, Kena: Bridge of Spirits offers over 200 Game Help videos as part of PlayStation Activities. Two graphics modes are offered – Fidelity mode, which runs at native 4K and 30 FPS, and Performance Mode, running in upscaled 4K and targeting 60 FPS. For PC players, DirectX 12 is supported. There’s also Photo Mode where players can pause the game and snap various pictures, which allows for showing off the different hats that the Rot can adorn.

All of the characters can even say “Cheese!” in a photo. As animation director Hunter Schmidt describes it, “When players have set up their perfect photo angle, they’ll have the option to have the characters in the photo say ‘CHEESE!’ and strike a pose. Many characters have multiple poses, so you can snap a great variety of fun shots in the same location. I’m very excited to see what kinds of photos players will capture!”

Kena: Bridge of Spirits will be available for PS4, PS5 and PC. Stay tuned for more details when it launches.
