A new trailer is available for Game Freak’s Pokemon Legends: Arceus, showcasing a ton of new information. It showcases exploration in the world, using Pokemon as mounts, along with the various Wardens that players will encounter. Check it out below.

The Wardens unveiled thus far include Mai (whose partner is Munchlax), Iscan, Lian and Arezu. Jubilife Village is also showcased and seems to be the central hub where players can shop and customize their appearance. You can choose from a variety of hair-styles or acquire new clothes with a range of different styles. Taking photos with Pokemon is also possible with a variety of different poses.

But perhaps the most interesting part of the trailer are the Pokemon Nobles like Kleavor. The Lord of the Woods is a Bug/Rock type Pokemon who seems to be running rampant and the player must bring them under control. Capturing it seems to provide a different type (the Axe type) so we’ll have to wait for more information on how that works.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus is out on January 28th 2022 for Nintendo Switch.
