Alan Wake Remastered marks the long-awaited return of Remedy’s cult-classic and is out next month. The intrepid writer’s journey is receiving several improvements for its lighting, effects and character models along with support for 4K resolution. To give a better idea of what to expect, you can check out about seven minutes of 4K gameplay from IGN below.
The segment takes place about half an hour into the story and sees protagonist Alan Wake surviving a car accident. By now, it’s clear that strange things are afoot in Bright Falls and Wake has to find out what’s going on. Along the way, he must discern the fate of his wife while confronting the darkness within.
