The Division Heartland Delayed to Fiscal Year 2022-23

The free-to-play spinoff was originally supposed to launch before April 2022, but has now been pushed back and will target a launch in FY 2022-23.

Tom Clancy's The Division Heartland

Ubisoft announced The Division Heartland earlier this year, confirming it as a free-to-play entry in the series offering a unique and standalone experience. Details on the game, however, have been scant since then (barring leaked ones), and it hasn’t helped that Ubisoft has barely said a word about it since they first announced the game.

Of course, The Division Heartland was previously scheduled to launch some time before the end of the current fiscal year, which ends March 31, 2021. That release date, to little surprise, has now been pushed back. In Ubisoft’s recent quarterly earnings call (via VGC), it was confirmed that The Division Heartland has been delayed, and will now be targeting a launch sometime in fiscal year 2022-23, which begins April 1, 2022 ends on March 31, 2023.

Meanwhile, it’s also been confirmed that the guitar learning service Rocksmith+ will also be launching somewhere in that same window. Rocksmith+ was announced at E3 earlier this year and was expected to release in 2021 itself, before then getting delayed with a vague 2022 launch window.
