Pokemon Legends Arceus

Pokemon Legends: Arceus is launching just a few days from now, and details are starting to come in think and fast for the open world action RPG. Several months back, it was reported that the game’s estimated file size would be about 13 GB, which is on the relatively higher side for a Switch game. With days left until launch though, the game’s final file size has been revealed.

The Japanese eShop page for Pokemon Legends: Arceus has been updated, and it confirms that the game’ final file size is 6 GB, which is quite a drop from what its estimated size was. That is, of course, not an uncommon occurrence- Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl’s final file size is 6.7 GB, which is noticeably lower than the initially reported 10 GB estimate.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus is launching for Switch on January 28. Japanese media recently published hands-on impressions of the game, praising it for its open world, setting, and more- read more on that through here.
