Destiny 2 Xur

The road to Destiny 2’s The Witch Queen continues as Exotic vendor Xur has returned to the Tower. Located in the Hangar behind Dead Orbit, he’s carrying a relatively diverse range of loot this week. The Exotic weapon on sale is Two-Tailed Fox, a Heavy rocket launcher that costs 29 Legendary Shards.

Introduced in Forsaken, Two-Tailed Fox fires two rockets – one Void and one Solar – which attack the same target. While the former suppresses foes, the latter deals damage over time. It’s not quite top-tier but the novelty of the weapon makes it worth picking up.

The Exotic gear available this week includes Shards of Galanor (Hunter gloves), Lion Rampant (Titan boots) and Karnstein Armlets (Warlock gloves), each for 23 Legendary Shards. Shards of Galanor is a useful Exotic for Blade Barrage, returning Super energy with each hit and kill though it’s seen numerous nerfs over time. Lion Rampant is good for in-air maneuverability and hip-fire accuracy when using Lift while Karnstein Armlets restores health on melee kills and continues to heal for a short duration after.

This week’s Legendary set is the Righteous armor with each piece available for 50 Legendary Shards and 1000 Glimmer. Check out the new Legendary weapons available, each for the same price:

  • Falling Guillotine – Heavy Sword
  • First In, Last Out – Energy Shotgun
  • The Third Axiom – Energy Pulse Rifle
  • Nature of the Beast – Energy Hand Cannon
  • Night Watch – Primary Scout Rifle
  • Wishbringer – Energy Shotgun
  • Seventh Seraph SI-2 – Energy Sidearm

Destiny 2: The Witch Queen releases on February 22nd for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, PC and Google Stadia.
