Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium Announced, Brings Another 32 Arcade Classics

The new arcade collection has been announced for Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, and PC, but no release date has been announced yet.

Last year, Capcom repackaged 32 beloved arcade classics in Capcom Arcade Stadiuma solid throwback to the company’s earlier years. More recently, a classification rating in Korea suggested that Capcom is going to release a sequel– and that has now been confirmed.

Taking recently to Twitter, Capcom officially announced Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium, which will bring another 32 arcade classics, with SonSon being included as a free download in the collection. Meanwhile, anyone who pre-order the upcoming Capcom Fighting Collection or purchase it early will also get a bonus game in the arcade collection – Three Wonders – at launch.

Not many other details about the collection have been announced yet, but Capcom says more information will be coming soon, so stay tuned for more updates in the coming weeks.

Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium hasn’t been given a launch window yet, but as spotted by @ALmunia_Italia on Twitter, a backend listing on the Xbox Store suggests it will launch on July 22. Whenever it releases, it will be available for PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
