Tiny Tina’s Wonderlands, the spin-off to Gearbox’s Borderlands series, isn’t a super-long game. Nevertheless, it still offers a fairly significant amount of stuff to do, whether you’re engaging in the end game or going the truly insane route of having a maxed out character for every class. Those looking to min-max will want to hit the level cap, which is 40, as soon as possible.
Not only can you unlock all of the necessary skills for your character but you also gain access to Myth Ranks for even more stats and improvements. To do that, you’ll need to quickly earn a lot of XP.
To start with, completing all of the side quests isn’t a necessary requirement but they provide extensive amounts of XP and useful loot. So it doesn’t hurt to take a break from the main quest and dabble on the side. If you want to get into some action quick, then exploring the overworld is a good idea.
There are various dungeons and camps to discover, each teeming with enemies. Venturing off the main path into the tall grass also initiates random encounters which are also equally decent at providing XP. Nothing revolutionary but if it works, it works.
You should also look around for pieces to the Shrine of Grindanna in the overworld map. The shrine permanently increases all XP earned by 10 percent, further maximizing those gains. Finally, there’s the Chaos Dungeon. Unlocked after finishing the main story, this is your main end-game activity with randomized dungeons that offer powerful loot and XP. If you’re close to level 40 and just have a few more levels to go, then farming this is the most ideal method.
Another way to increase XP gain further is to equip the Blank Slate, a Legendary Armor which provides a 10 percent boost to experience gained. It’s a world drop though so getting one may not be easy (and may or may not roll with other passives), so it’s not really feasible for late to end-game farming. Nevertheless, if you happen to find one earlier or want to level a new character, it may come in handy.
How to Earn Gold Fast
Another important resource while venturing the Wonderlands is Gold. This is used for a variety of purposes, most notably to purchase new weapons and armor from vending machines. As you progress further, higher item level weapons will be available that cost even more.
If you weren’t lucky enough to have a Legendary that can hard-carry you to end-game, having a decent stack of Gold on hand in case something good appears is necessary.
Side quests are a great source of Gold but you’ll also want to sell any loot that won’t be used. Since the game often showers players with the same, there are bound to be some Rare or Epic weapons that you’ll never have a need for. It’s also worth seeking out pieces of the Shrine of Mool Ah since it permanently increases all Gold earned by 10 percent.
