Destiny 2 - Vault of Glass

Vow of the Disciple, Destiny 2’s latest raid added via The Witch Queen, is pretty great. However, as is the case with every new raid and dungeon, it would be nice to go back and play older content while benefiting from Pinnacle rewards. Thankfully, players will be getting their wish when Season 17 drops courtesy of the new Rotator system.

As per the latest This Week at Bungie, the new system will offer Seasonal and Weekly categories for players to partake in. The former consists of the latest raid and dungeon, and offers Pinnacle rewards for all encounters. Starting in Season 17, Vow of the Disciple and the newest dungeon will be included. There will also be rotators for raids and dungeons that offer Pinnacle rewards upon completing the activities.

In the Weekly category, you’ll be able to experience all of the raids and dungeons that aren’t in the current Seasonal rotation including Garden of Salvation and The Last Wish. Finishing the last encounter in those will net a Pinnacle reward. You can also venture into tougher activities, like Master Vault of Glass.

But perhaps the nicest change with this system is that there will be no lockouts on Legendary gear, allowing one to farm drops from any raid and dungeon without any restriction. So if you’ve been looking for that perfect Fatebringer roll, you can farm like there’s no tomorrow. Stay tuned for more details on Season 17 which is reportedly starting next month (since Season of the Risen ends on May 24th).
