Monster Hunter Rise’s massive new expansion Sunbreak is out tomorrow, adding new monsters, Master Rank quests and gear, and various new mechanics like Switch Skill Swap. In the meantime, some new gameplay of Espinas and Blood Orange Bishaten, two new monsters, can be seen below, courtesy of IGN.

The gameplay also showcases the new Insect Glaive and Hunting Horn skills. Each weapon tree is getting two new skills and thanks to Switch Skill Swap, players can change between them on the fly. Along with Espinas, Capcom confirmed other returning monsters like Monster Hunter 4’s Shagaru Magala (the adult form of Gore Magala), Furious Rajang, and more. There’s also a new subspecies for Magnamalo which looks suitably threatening.

Monster Hunter Rise: Sunbreak launches tomorrow for Nintendo Switch and PC. Its first title update arrives in August, adding Lucent Nargacuga and Seething Bazelgeuse for free along with the Forlorn Arena. The next title updates are slated for Fall and Winter so stay tuned in the coming months for more details.
