Deliver Us Mars Dev Diary Introduces the Cast, Discusses More Ambitious Storytelling

Developer KeokeN Interactive talks about how it's upping the ante where storytelling is concerned in its upcoming sci-fi sequel.

KeokeN Interactive clearly has lofty ambitions for Deliver Us Marsthe upcoming sci-fi exploration puzzle game that serves as a follow-up to Deliver Us the Moon, and from expanded gameplay mechanics and systems to improved storytelling, the developer is looking to take leaps in several ways. Recently, a developer diary introduced us to the game’s Mars setting and talked in detail about it, and now, a new dev diary focuses on its story.

Titled “Earth’s Last Hope”, the second developer diary for Deliver Us Mars, introduces the game’s cast, which sees Ellise Chappell voicing and providing her likeness for the protagonist, Kathy Johnson, and Neil Newbon playing her father, Isaac. The developers also speak about the various improvements they’re making on the storytelling front, from improved narrative presentation to a story that focuses on personal stakes more. Deliver Us Mars launches on September 27 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
