It’s a petty big day for Resident Evil. Resident Evil Re:Verse has launched, as has Resident Evil Village’s first and only expansion. At the same time, Capcom has also made the survival horror title available to a larger audience, with the game releasing for Nintendo Switch- with a caveat, of course.
Resident Evil Village is available now for the Nintendo Switch, though it is exclusively a cloud title. Capcom has also released a launch trailer to commemorate its release- check it out below. Currently, only the base game is available for the platform, but the aforementioned Winters’ Expansion will be releasing (also exclusively via the cloud) on December 2.
Meanwhile, the next couple of months are also going to see Switch cloud releases for several other Resident Evil titles, with Resident Evil 2 launching on November 11, Resident Evil 3 following on November 18, and Resident Evil 7 capping things off on December 16.
Resident Evil Village is also available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Check out our review of the game through here.
