Street Fighter 6 Gameplay Shows Ryu, Luke, Ken, and Jamie in Action

A new gameplay video showcases the characters in some high-skill fights being played by members of the development team.

Street Fighter fans have been waiting for the series’ next mainline entry for quite some time, and the fact that Street Fighter 5 spent several years being a disappointing before finally making its recovery has only made that wait feel longer. Thankfully, the upcoming Street Fighter 6 is looking like a promising return to form for the series in all that we’ve seen of it so far, and it continues to look exciting more new gameplay.

Uploaded by Game Informer, a new gameplay video showcases two matches from the game- one with Ken taking on Ryu, and another that sees Luke trading blows with Jamie. Interestingly, it’s members of the game’s development team going head-to-head against each other in this footage, showing some pretty high level competition. Check out the video below for a better idea of what’s new, what’s improved, and what’s changed.

Street Fighter 6 is in development for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, and PC. It was recently rated in South Korea, suggesting that a launch date could be announced soon.
