Developer CyberConnect2 and publisher Bandai Namco have released a new trailer for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot‘s upcoming Bardock – Alone Against Fate DLC. Titled Battle for Planet Vegeta Trailer, the trailer focuses on the climactic fight from the original movie where Bardock first made his debut.
Having to fight off hordes of soldiers to try and get to iconic antagonist Frieza, the trailer showcases the gameplay that is involved in bringing down 150 Frieza Force Soldiers. The trailer ends right as Frieza emerges from his space ship.
The Bardock – Alone Against Fate DLC, as its name might imply, explores the story of Dragon Ball series protagonist Goku’s father. The DLC is set to be the first part of Season Pass 2 for Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, which was originally announced back in September.
An earlier trailer showcases some more of the battles Bardock an take part in, focusing on his experiences on Planet Kanassa.
Bardock – Alone Against Fate is coming to Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot on January 13. Considering the game’s PS5 and Xbox Series X/S upgrade is also slated for January, the DLC will be available on the new platforms as well as PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
