Developer Colossal Order has released a new trailer for upcoming city-builder Cities: Skylines 2 during Xbox Games Showcase 2023. The trailer, meant to announce that the game is now available for pre-order, gives us our most in-depth look at gameplay yet.

According to the trailer, every road, every home, and every skyscraper, among every other aspect of a city, will be available for players to build from the ground up. The trailer gives us a look at some of the game’s building tools, as well as a quick glimpse at terraforming tools.

There are also quick glimpses of various management aspects of the game, including setting up cargo and transportation infrastructure, powerlines, and public transit systems.

Colossal Order has previously described Cities: Skylines 2 as its most ambitious project so far. The game was announced back in March, and since then, the studio has set out a schedule for the release of the final DLCs for Cities: Skylines.

Cities: Skylines 2 is slated for release on PC and Xbox Series X/S on October 24. The game will also be coming to Game Pass on release.
