Kunitsu-Gami Path of the Goddess

Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess kicked off the new Capcom Showcase, though it didn’t receive new gameplay footage. However, the publisher confirmed that the co-op fantasy action title would also come to PS5 and PC via Steam after being announced for Xbox Series X/S and PC via Windows Store.

Set in a world inspired by traditional Japanese aesthetics (with Okami and Shinsekai: Into the Depths referenced). Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess sees foul creatures arising and causing havoc. Players fight to protect the Spirit Stone Maiden on her path to the gate in a combination of action and strategy. It’s developed on RE Engine and gives off pseudo-Onimusha vibes.

Further details are still pending, including a release window, but Kunitsu-Gami: Path of the Goddess will launch on day one for Game Pass. Stay tuned for further updates and gameplay. In the meantime, expect even more news from the Capcom Showcase as it rolls on
