While players will no doubt grind tithes to provide Eris Morn in Destiny 2’s Season of the Witch, everyone can look forward to the next reprised raid on September 1st. Contrary to expectations, it’s Crota’s End from The Dark Below, with players venturing to the Moon to take on the Hive Prince and Son of Oryx.
The trailer highlights some of the most iconic moments from the raid, from navigating the darkness to crossing the bridge in Crota’s Throne World. You’ll take on the Deathsinger and ultimately use a sword to battle Oryx himself. While considered a glorified Strike at launch, the Age of Triumph version introduced some interesting new mechanics.
It also offered a unique armor set, returning with the reprised version. Whether Crota’s End will have some new mechanics like Vault of Glass or stick closer to its original vision remains to be seen. There will be a World’s First race when it goes live at 10 AM PT, so stay tuned.
