EA Sports UFC 5

After long-standing rumors, EA Sports UFC 5 was finally confirmed last July. Electronic Arts has since announced the first trailer reveal for September 7th at 8 AM PST. It also revealed this year’s cover athletes, with Alexander Volkanovski and Valentina Shevchenko sharing space on the Standard Edition.

Volkanovski is currently the UFC Featherweight Champion, while Shevchenko is a former UFC Women’s Flyweight Champion (and the first female fighter to grace the game’s cover since Ronda Rousey in 2015). UFC Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya is the star of the Deluxe Edition, having last appeared on EA Sports UFC 4’s cover with Jorge Masvidal (who retired from competition earlier this year).

We can probably expect to see all three in action with the reveal trailer. It may also announce the release date, platforms and new features for the upcoming fighting game (along with the bonuses included with the Deluxe Edition). Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
