EA Sports UFC 5

After initially being rumored over a year ago, Electronic Arts has officially announced its next UFC title: EA Sports UFC 5. No further details are available, but a full reveal is coming this September.

The sequel was rumored to target a Summer 2023 window, but given its reveal this Fall, it could launch this Winter or even early next year. Insider Gaming’s Tom Henderson reported that a reboot of Fight Night was paused to focus on EA Sports UFC 5. The former hasn’t been cancelled but could be even further out than planned.

The last major title in the franchise was EA Sports UFC 4, available in August 2020 for Xbox One and PS4. It featured over 220 fighters, new takedown animations and a new Career Mode. Logic dictates that EA Sports UFC 5 should also launch on Xbox Series X/S and PS5. As always, stay tuned for more details and updates.
