Remedy Entertainment’s Alan Wake 2 has received extensive new gameplay, focusing on new protagonist Saga Anderson. The early mission sees the FBI agent venturing through Watery, gathering information and clues before going to a theme park called Coffee World. Check it out below, courtesy of IGN.

After speaking to some residents, she ventures into the woods where an incredibly quick axe-wielding foe awaits. While she can stun them with her flashlight, Saga also has a handgun, double-barreled shotgun and crossbow to fight them. It’s not long before she arrives in Coffee World, where even more conflict awaits.

There will be more gameplay and details in the coming weeks, so stay tuned. Alan Wake 2 launches on October 27th for PS5, Xbox Series X/S and PC to avoid clashing with Marvel’s Spider-Man 2. It’s expected to be over 20 hours long, with players able to switch freely between Anderson and Wake after a point. Check out some gameplay with Alan Wake in The Dark Place here.
