Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has impressed on several fronts in all that’s been shown of it so far, which, of course, includes how it’s shaping up on a visual and technical level. With the game now a little more than a month away from launch, developer Insomniac has also shared new screenshots to further drive home just how good it’s looking.
The new screenshots come courtesy of an article recently published by the New York Times, and showcase a number of landmarks that players will be able to visit in the game’s open world. Specifically, the images, which you can view below, show Times Square, the Washington Square Arch in Greenwich, and what seems to be Coney Island, which has been confirmed to be present in the open world.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2’s New York is, of course, set to be roughly twice as large as the open world map in its two predecessors, so it’s obviously going to have many more landmarks for players to visit as well (including some fictional ones). That said, one recognizable fixture of the city that won’t be present in the game is the Chrysler Building.
Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 launches on October 20 for PS5.
