Gun Interactive recently threw its hat back into the ring of asymmetrical multiplayer horror games with The Texas Chain Saw Massacre’s launch a little over a month ago, and the game has enjoyed plenty of success following its release. On the day of its release, it attracted over one million players, and that number has grown considerably since then.

Taking to Twitter, Gun Interactive recently announced that The Texas Chain Saw Massacre has seen over 4 million players across all platforms within its first month. The horror title is, of course, also available via Game Pass, which doubtless will have contributed to those numbers quite a bit. Regardless, it’s an impressive milestone for the game.

In our review of the game, we gave it a score of 7/10, saying, “The Texas Chain Saw Massacre differentiates itself well from other horror multiplayer titles, channeling the brutality of the films with some unique gameplay despite the various issues.” Read the full review through here.

The Texas Chain Saw Massacre is available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
