Squanch Games has announced that the horror-themed DLC for High on Life, titled High on Knife, is slated for release on October 3. The DLC will be coming out simultaneously on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and PS5. Check out the new trailer below.

High on Knife was unveiled back in June during an Xbox Games Showcase Extended presentation. The expansion will feature 52 new characters, alongside characters returning from the base game, like Gene and Knifey.

New weapons coming to High on Life with the DLC include an ex-military pistol named Harper and a pinball-inspired gun named B.A.L.L. The antagonist for the DLC, named Mux, will be played by Oscar-nominated actress Gabourey Sidibe.

High on Life anded its Xbox console exclusivity back in July and launched on PS4 and PS5. The game puts players in the shoes of a high school graduate as an alien cartel invades Earth and begins kidnapping humans en masse.
