After prematurely going live a few hours earlier, Remedy Entertainment finally debuted the launch trailer for Alan Wake 2 at the Xbox Partner Preview. It sees newcomer and FBI profiler Saga Anderson realizing she’s caught in something bigger than an investigation into ritualistic killings. Check it out below.

The story alternates between Anderson and Alan Wake, with the latter still trapped in The Dark Place and seeking an escape. Both characters are playable throughout the story, with Saga using her Mind Place to solve the murders while Wake arranges scenes and illuminates different surroundings to reshape his reality.

Alan Wake 2 launches on October 27th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC via the Epic Games Store. Pre-loads are already available, and the game requires at least 82 GB of installation space on all platforms. It also has some hefty requirements on PC – check them out here and stay tuned for more details when it launches later this week.
