THE FINALS Cross-Play Open Beta Announced for October 26th to November 5th

THE FINALS, Embark Studios’ free-to-play competitive shooter, is getting an open beta. It starts today, October 26th and runs till November 5th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. Check out the latest trailer below.

The open beta serves to stress-test server and backend infrastructure while obtaining feedback on console gameplay. It will also feature improvements from the previous PC test and new content, like a new Arena in Skyway Stadium and a new mode, Bank-It. The latter sees four teams of three players fighting over coins – the first to reach the score limit or have the most banked at the end wins.

Those participating in the open beta can also obtain 16 exclusive rewards from its Battle Pass that transfer to the full game. There’s also League Progression, mastery levels for weapons and more to go with content from the previous test.

Embark is also working on ARC Raiders, which is still slated for this year and went from co-op third-person shooter to PvEvP extraction shooter. Head here for more details.
