Redfall may have left behind a major dent in Arkane Studios’ track record and reputation as a whole, but this is still the studio that brought us games like Dishonored, Prey, and Deathloop, so there’s naturally going to be plenty of excitement around what it will develop next. Interestingly enough, we’ll actually be getting some information on that pretty soon, as per a fresh leak.

Prominent leaker Nate the Hate has claimed in a recent episode of his podcast that Arkane Studios’ next game will be announced at The Game Awards later this week, on December 7. Considering the fact that Redfall was developed by Arkane Austin, we can probably assume that the next game the developer puts out will come from Arkane Lyon, the team behind Dishonored 2 and Deathloop.

Though there have been some suggestions in the past that a sequel to Deathloop is in development, there’s also a good chance that this announcement ends up being a new Dishonored title. Earlier this year, leaked internal Microsoft documents emerging during the company’s trial with the FTC revealed that Dishonored 3 was in the works.

Last week, Microsoft also sent out newsletters to users, teasing “important announcements” for The Game Awards 2023.
