While Sega’s other properties, like Crazy Taxi, Jet Set Radio and Shinobi, were the bigger deal at The Game Awards, RGG Studio’s Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth received a new trailer. It focuses on side story content for Kazuma Kiryu, the long-running protagonist of the series and deuteragonist of the sequel. Check it out below.

“Bucket List” is about Kiryu making peace with his life, reuniting with Makoto Date and reminiscing about old friends, like Pocket Circuit Fighter from Yakuza 0. Even Kaoru Sayama of Yakuza 2 fame appears, though whether it’s just for a cameo or something more remains to be seen.

Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth is launching on January 26th, 2024, for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PS4, Xbox One and PC. It also launches on day one for Game Pass. As a direct sequel to Yakuza: Like a Dragon, it’s set in Honolulu City and is over three times larger than the previous game’s Isezaki Ijincho in Yokohama. Actors like Daniel Dae Kim and Danny Trejo are also part of the cast as Masataka Ebina and Dwight Mendez, respectively.
