The Legend of Heroes - Kai no Kiseki - Farewell, O Zemuria

Falcom has announced the next title in its long-running Kiseki series – The Legend of Heroes: Kai no Kiseki – Farewell, O Zemuria. It launches in 2024 in Japan, though the platforms have yet to be announced. Though it seems to be a follow-up to The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki, the focus is on an orbal rocket’s launch to investigate the ends of the continent.

However, there’s also the prophesied end of Zemuria on X Day. Meanwhile, various forces converge on Ored, including a “young Spriggan”, implied to be Vaan. Time will tell how things play out, but Falcom promises a “dramatic turn” for the series. Familiar faces from Ouroboros, like Enforcers Campanella and Walter Kron, also appear.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails series started in 2004 with Trails in the Sky and has seen numerous sequels since then, including Trails of Cold Steel, Trails from Zero, Trails into Azure, Trails into Reverie and the upcoming Trails through Daybreak. The latest title launches in Summer 2024 for PS4, PS5, PC, and Nintendo Switch. The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel 3 and 4 will also arrive for PS5 on February 16th.
