Baldur's Gate 3_08

Larian Studios has released a new hotfix for Baldur’s Gate 3, adding an excellent quality-of-life feature to the acclaimed RPG. You can now use quest items without carrying them, like Minthara’s lute. If you send it to the stash or a companion in camp without knowing when it would be required, it will be usable when the situation arises.

Other fixes include cross-save no longer syncing saves with mods (since they’re unavailable on consoles). Waypoints also have categories, allowing players to group them by location, which is ideal for instances where you can’t see the regional map to click on a specific waypoint. Other issues have also been fixed, like low-resolution textures appearing after extensive playtime.

Check out some of the patch notes below and full details here. Story spoilers are included (albeit hidden), so beware. Baldur’s Gate 3 is available for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. As for the Xbox firmware issue, which results in progress not being saved, a fix has yet to be dated, so stay tuned.
