Dragon’s Dogma 2 is a game of many Vocations, whether you’re fighting on the frontline as the Warrior or using ranged attacks as the Archer. The Mage focuses on magic but plays a more supporting role, healing and buffing the party. If you’re keen on destruction, the Sorcerer may be more fitting.

As showcased in the latest trailer below, the Sorcerer uses a two-handed staff to cast powerful magick spells. They take a bit longer to cast than the Mage’s spells, but you can call down meteors, generate massive tornadoes and send out waves of fire or ice. Keep your distance since you’re squishier than the average hero.

If you’re unsure which Vocation to choose, the Warfarer exclusive to the Arisen may be the best choice. Head here for more details. Dragon’s Dogma 2 launches on March 22nd for Xbox Series X/S, PS5 and PC. Check out some more Sorcerer (and other Vocations) gameplay here.
