Atlus has had a strong start to 2024 with Persona 3 Reload and Vanillaware’s Unicorn Overlord, but the Japanese developer still has another heavyweight waiting in the wings. Fantasy RPG Metaphor: ReFantazio – led by the creative leads of Persona 3, 4, and 5 – has been previously billed by Atlus as its next big property, and the company will soon be revealing more details about it.

Taking to Twitter, Atlus has announced the Metaphor: ReFantazio Atlus Exclusive livestream for next Monday, April 22, at 3 PM PT, where the developer says it intends to deliver “the latest updates” on the game and its development. There’s no word on how long the showcase will be and what sort of new details Atlus will be unveiling.

Metaphor: ReFantazio is due out sometime this Fall– hopefully Atlus will be announcing a specific release date soon. The game is in development for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, and PC. Leaks have claimed that it’s also in the works for the rumoured Nintendo Switch 2.
