Monster Hunter Wilds - Dual Blades

Capcom has finally concluded its string of hype trailers for Monster Hunter Wilds’ weapons with the Lance and Dual Blades. The former is the pinnacle of defense, capable of blocking some of the hardest-hitting attacks, while the latter possesses extensive agility and fast attacks. Check them out below.

Though defense is its main strength, the Lance can deal some decent stun damage thanks to its shield. Thanks to the new Focus Mode, players can execute a rising shield bash, followed by a charging bash and poke.

As for the Dual Blades, it has a unique variation on the Heavenly Blade Dance. Players leap in like Monster Hunter Rise, but now kick-off and grapple onto the monster to execute the whirling attack. It’s yet another Focus Strike and looks very potent.

Monster Hunter Wilds‘ streak of weapon video may have ended, but there’s more to come at Gamescom Opening Night Live. Capcom will unveil a new trailer while several stations are available on the show floor to go hands-on with the title.
