It is the second mainline instalment in the Assetto Corsa series, and the third overall.
The next title in KUNOS Simulazioni's racing sim franchise will feature 24-hour race cycles, dynamic weather, and a variety of cars.
The next Assetto Corsa game will be a proper follow-up to the original game in the franchise, according to studio executive Marco Massarutto.
It's also been confirmed that the racing simulation franchise has collectively sold over 28 million units to date.
A mobile game in the racing simulation series is also in development, and expected to launch this Summer.
