With Marvel Rivals launching this week, NetEase Games has revealed another hero from its 33-character roster: Cloak and Dagger. You would think the player controls one while the other appears when using certain abilities, but Tandy Bowen and Tyrone Johnson are two characters rolled into one. Check it out below.
Dagger can damage enemies and heal allies from afar while casting a healing field. On the other hand, Cloak can make nearby allies intangible and temporarily banish opponents to another realm, which is very useful against enemy Ultimates. Both characters can also send out walls which deal damage on passing through enemies.
Their Ultimate is pretty straightforward, as they manifest on the field and rush through enemies together while leaving damaging trails on the ground. Overall, the duo offer a unique blend of support and some counter-play against lethal elements.
Marvel Rivals launches on December 6th for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. Only one character, Wolverine, remains to be showcased, so stay tuned.
