Pearl Abyss’ single-player open world action-adventure title Crimson Desert has continued to look promising each time it has been shown off over the years, and that continues to be the case with its newest showing. The developer has released a new gameplay video showcasing another boss fight, following in the footsteps of a number of bosses that have been previously revealed.
The new gameplay video showcases the protagonist going up against Hexe Marie (who was previously teased), who, as her name indicates, is a witch with plenty of otherworldly powers. The combat continues to look explosive, with the player combining aggressive attacks and bombastic abilities with agile movement and ranged attacks, while the boss herself seems to have a pretty varied moveset as well. Crimson Desert is in the works for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC, but a release date is currently unknown.
