Cyberpunk 2077 - Update 2_01

CD Projekt RED has reignited hype for Cyberpunk 2077, announcing a REDstream for the new Update 2.2. Considering the team moved on to other projects after Update 2.1, there’s anticipation that this could offer some long-awaited features. Unfortunately, global community director Marin Momot has put a damper on two – New Game Plus and PS5 Pro.

The former has been a much-requested feature among fans, but it’s not coming in Update 2.2. After the developer said there were “no plans” for PS5 Pro support last month, Momot has reaffirmed that this has remained unchanged. However, “We do have some other cool stuff in the oven, and we’ll talk about it tomorrow during the stream – we hope you’ll like it too!” At the very least, fans can look forward to bug fixes, as confirmed by the game’s official Twitter.

Cyberpunk 2077 is available for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC. However, the latest updates are exclusive to current-gen consoles and PC, which will also be the case for Update 2.2. Stay tuned for more details from the REDstream on December 10th and a potential release in the coming weeks.
