Destiny 2 The Edge of Fate

Bungie has finally revealed the next expansion for Destiny 2, The Edge of Fate. Launching on July 15th for consoles and PC, it sees the Guardians accepting an invitation and venturing outside the Sol system to Kepler. And shock of shocks, The Nine are involved.

The Edge of Fate kicks off a new multi-year saga, The Fate Saga, and sees players up against The Nine, revealed to be older than The Traveler itself. Meanwhile, Kepler is surrounded by dark matter, facilitating new traversal methods. Bungie also noted that the narrative would be more non-linear with some Metroidvanid gameplay elements.

There are plenty of other questions to answer (including the identity of the individual emerging from The Emissary), but that’s pretty much the point of The Edge of Fate. Those purchasing the Standard Edition will receive access to the campaign, the new raid, an Active Rewards Pass and some cosmetics.

Purchasing the Year of Prophecy Edition grants all of the above, plus access to Renegades, the next expansion, and the new Dungeon. You also get three additional Reward Passes.
