Mafia The Old Country

After prematurely leaking the date last month, Hangar 13 and 2K have confirmed that Mafia: The Old Country launches on August 8th. It will be available for PC, Xbox Series X/S and PS5. Check out the latest gameplay trailer below.

As a prequel to the mainline series, The Old Country focuses on Enzo Favara, who joins the Don Torrisi family for a better life in 1900s Sicily. Of course, this involves committing all sorts of crimes, waging war against other families, and proving your mettle.

The title returns to the more linear structure of the first two entries as players explore crypts, vineyards, opera houses and more. As the trailer showcases, you’ll sneak around to execute enemies, throw knives and utilize handguns and shotguns for a louder approach.

Racing across fields and dirt roads with automobiles and horseback, sometimes firing at fleeing enemies, is also part of the package. As a further compliment, Mafia: The Old Country includes Sicilian voice acting and Italian localization. Stay tuned for more details in the meantime.
