In a sudden stream for Helldivers 2, Arrowhead Game Studios’ chief creative director Johan Pilestedt has announced that the co-op shooter will be coming to Xbox Series X/S on August 26th. Retailing for $39.99 (with the Super Citizen Edition costing $59.99), pre-orders are currently live on the Xbox Store. Check out the announcement trailer below.
The store listing confirms cross-platform support alongside keyboard and mouse support on consoles. Pre-orders also receive three armor sets: the TR-7 Ambassador of the Brand (Medium), TR-62 Knight (Medium) and TR-9 Cavalier of Democracy (Heavy). Each offers unique perks – the TR-9, for example, has a 50 percent chance of keeping you alive after lethal damage. It also prevents all bleeding damage when your chest hemorrhages.
