Bloober Team has released a ten-minute gameplay walkthrough of Cronos: The New Dawn, its upcoming survival horror title, detailing Section A-0. The Traveller ventures through an abandoned building with the help of some gravity-defying platforming and discovers some time-space distortions. Check it out below.

The various Orphans adorning the structure can be a challenge, especially when crawling on the walls and ambushing with grapples (which is where the flamethrower comes in handy). Workstations are available for upgrading weapons and the Temporal Shell, increasing its integrity (health), inventory slots and resource limits.

You can also craft ammo and items on the go, including a Shell Patch that prevents the Temporal Shell from perforating. Eventually, the Traveller arrives at an abandoned hospital and activates the Anchor, seemingly traveling back in time to find their target. How far back they’ve gone is unknown, but the infection that created the Orphans is still very much present.

It’s not long before they encounter the creatures and must use the flamethrower again to prevent them from merging. The walkthrough ends with a massive Orphan appearing and roaring out.

Cronos: The New Dawn launches this Fall for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. For more details on the Orphans and how to combat them, head here.
