Cronos The New Dawn

If the tense exploration through Sector A-0 wasn’t enough, Cronos: The New Dawn has received a new 35-minute gameplay walkthrough. Covering the beginning of the game, it sees Traveler ND-3576 venturing into the New Dawn district to locate Predecessor ND-3500. It starts tame with basic exploration and puzzle-solving, but it’s not long before the Orphans show up.

As she explores the district, the Traveler ND-3576 discovers documents and notes belonging to the deceased. After battling an Orphan, it’s not long before she emerges into a more open space with the destroyed towers in the background. More Orphans await, but there are also fallen infected bodies to dispose of by fire (lest they’re used to strengthen the living Orphans).

After battling the creatures and rearranging rubble to form platforms for traversal, we cut to ND-3576 exploring a ruined apartment building, having acquired a shotgun-like module. Even more Orphans await to be slaughtered, including a relatively tankier one that must be defeated to access the time rift. Once synchronized, ND-3576 resumes her search for the target.

Cronos: The New Dawn is available this Fall for Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. It could receive a release date at Gamescom 2025, especially with a playable demo available at the Xbox booth from August 20th to 24th. Stay tuned and head here to learn more about its endings.
