Between leaks and Beyoncé album analogies, Activision finally unveiled gameplay for Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 at Opening Night Live. Co-developed by Raven Software and Treyarch, it offered a closer look at the futuristic setting and action that fans can expect.
If the surreal environments of Black Ops 6 were enjoyable, good news: They’re coming back on a bigger scale. Locations like Avalon and Alaska were also showcased, with robots (big and small), Wingsuits, and more revealed. Perhaps the most bizarre reveal is a giant human slamming down on David Mason and his team. By comparison, Raul Menendez making a return is fairly tame.
As rumored, Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 launches on November 14th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and PC (with no sign of a Switch 2 release). Alongside a co-op campaign, it features multiplayer and a new round-based Zombies mode, and even the return of Dead Ops Arcade. Omnimovement, which debuted in Black Ops 6, also makes a return.
