Developer Straight4 Studios and publisher Giants Software have released a brand new trailer for upcoming racing sim Project Motor Racing, this time around showcasing some raw gameplay, with AI racer difficulty set to its highest. Promising no camera tricks or post-processing, the gameplay is showcased from the cockpit of a Saleen S7-R. Even the audio has been left essentially untouched, giving us an idea of what the various cars in Project Motor Racing will sound like as they speed and brake through any given race track’s straights and corners.

Just last month, Straight4 Studios had also showcased the various multiplayer features of Project Motor Racing, which include monthly championship events with weekly track rotations, scheduled race times, cross-platform multiplayer, distinct leaderboards across different styles of race events, and even custom multiplayer lobbies. Along with this, the developer had also noted that multiplayer for Project Motor Racing will not require any additional payments or subscriptions to rent multiplayer servers, as is typically seen in racing sim games like BeamNG.drive (via BeamMP), Automobilista 2 and the Assetto Corsa franchise.

Project Motor Racing is being developed for PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, and is slated for release on November 25. Along with all of its core features, the racing sim will also include full mod support across all platforms, and has been described by the studio as being a “no compromises” title that has been designed from the ground up for motorsport racing enthusiasts.

“We wanted to capture the harsh reality of pro motorsport: Budgets. Repairs. Sponsors. Failed overtakes that don’t just wreck your car but your whole season,” said design director Austin Ogonoski back in June. “Your career in Project Motor Racing is motorsport with consequences.”

Mod support across the PC and console versions will be handled using the official GIANTS Editor, both for creating mods as well as sharing them through the in-game user-generated content portal. The studio has also stated that it will be testing every mod released for the game to ensure maximum compatibility across all platforms.

The simulation-styled gameplay has been one of its core defining factors since as far back as April, when it got a trailer that gave us a look at the kind of experience offered by the title when played with a full-fledged sim racing setup, complete with multiple monitors and high-end peripherals like steering wheels and gear shifters.

When it comes out, Project Motor Racing will feature more than 70 vehicles across 10 racing classes, and 27 different track layouts. The title will feature a host of licensed cars from a wide range of manufacturers, including Aston Martin, Audi, Lamborghini, Chevrolet, Mercedes-AMG, Acura, Nissan, Toyota, and Mazda, among many others.
