The Game Awards premiere announcements just keep coming, this time with TT Games’ LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight confirmed for the show. A tweet showing LEGO Batman outside the Peacock Theater was shared with the figure, noting, “Extra security clocking in for the TGAs.”

A new trailer seems a given, but with a release in 2026 – and the first half of the year effectively clear after Grand Theft Auto 6’s delay – we could get a launch date. If nothing else, it should underscore the sheer scale of Gotham City’s open world (and the franchise’s signature humor).

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is coming to Xbox Series X/S, PS5, PC and Nintendo Switch 2. Instead of an extensive roster, players will control Batman and six of his trusted allies, including the Bat Family’s Nightwing, Robin, and Batgirl, alongside Jim Gordon, Catwoman and even Talia al Ghul.

It’s an original story, but it features numerous elements from different comic books, films, and more, right down to the different Batmobiles and skins. Check out a full level’s worth of gameplay featuring the Red Hood Gang.
